When installing Forefront/Endpoint Protection services, our Analysis services is on a named instance and during the install I enter the computer name, instance name, reporting path and service account. When I click next, I receive the following ERROR: *Setup cannot connect to the SQL Server. Verify that the SQL Server computer name and instance are correct, that the firewall is not blocking the connection to the SQL Server, and that the appropriate network configuration protocols are enabled. If you are connecting to a named SQL Server instance, make sure that the SQL Server Browser service is running on the SQL Server.* *Computer name: HLSQLSRV05 SQL Server instance: HLSSAS05* *The operating system returned an error. Error message: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)* I have verified that the ports are not blocked, TCP/IP is enabled, The server and instance name are correct and the the Browser service is running on the default instance (which if I have read correctly, enabling it once will apply to all the instances installed on the same server). I could use some insight into how I can get past this and complete this installation.
